The Winnipeg Goldeyes return to post-season action Wednesday night since their trip to the Miles Wolff Cup Final in 2024.
First pitch in Game 1 of the West Division series is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in Fargo, N.D., against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes return to post-season action Wednesday in a West Division battle against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.
By the numbers
13: Tonight’s game will be the 13th time the two clubs have met in the post-season.
2: Winnipeg has won two of three American Association playoff series against the RedHawks. The Fish swept the 2012 and 2024 Division Series, while the RedHawks took the 2022 Division Series.
But Fargo-Moorhead holds a 7-5 advantage in the previous 12 playoff meetings (including nine Northern League post-season clashes) and a 24-22 edge in individual post-season games.
4: The Goldeyes have won four titles in their franchise history, including three in the American Association (2012, 2016, 2017) and one in the Northern League (1994).

Historic highlights
The rivalry between the Fish and the RedHawks dates back to 1996 when the clubs faced each other for the first time in the playoffs. They would go on to clash another eight times during the Northern League years.
The RedHawks’ Newman Outdoor Field was home for the Goldeyes during the condensed 60-game 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Series schedule
The Kansas City Monarchs — who finished as the top seed in the West Division — had the opportunity to select their first-round opponent and chose the Sioux Falls Canaries. The choice set up the matchup between the Fish and the RedHawks.
The three-game series starts Wednesday night in Fargo, with Game Two and a possible Game Three hosted at Blue Cross Park Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12, respectively. Opening pitch for the Winnipeg games is scheduled for 7 p.m.
