Hey there, time traveller!

Winnipeg-based, Peguis First Nation-bred roots singer-songwriter William Prince made his U.S. television debut over the weekend, as he and his band performed a trio of songs on CBS This Morning Saturday Feb. 1.
Prince played his breakout hit, Breathless, from his 2015 debut album, Earthly Days, as well as two tracks — The Spark and Always Have What We Had — from his sophomore album, Reliever, which will be released Friday.
“CBS This Morning was a rush. You feel an elevation of all things when surrounded by professionals of that calibre. I was really excited to be in New York making our debut and the band was so great,” Prince told the Free Press.

Videos of all three of Prince’s performances are available on CBSnews.com.
This weekend, Prince also shared the first episode of a new audio series, Sunday Verse, a companion piece to Reliever that allows the singer to share the stories behind his new songs, as well as other observations and experiences. New episodes of the series will be released on Sundays throughout the coming months.
Prince has three hometown album release shows at the West End Cultural Centre on Feb. 14, 15 and 16. The first two shows are sold out, however tickets remain available for the Feb. 16 concert at 3 p.m. Tickets are $35 at Ticketmaster.ca or the Winnipeg Folk Festival office (203-211 Bannatyne Ave.).
