Hi! I’m Amaya!

I’m a spunky and active girl who loves playing tug a war and catch, but I like to take it slow in the mornings if you sleep in.

I am fully housetrained and I love my crate — I go in it for naps on my own and when my foster mom isn’t home. I also really like to spend time training and learning new things, so I probably would benefit from an experienced dog owner.

I live with a cat, and wouldn’t mind living with one who is dog savvy. I have a bit too much energy around kids and I still need a lot of supervision. Kids older than 12 would be best.

I love playing with other dogs, but I don’t know when to stop playing. If there is another dog in your home, they will need to tell me when to stop. I do a lot better at building a routine when there are no other dogs living with me, but I do great with dogs on play dates. So, it’s best I don’t live with a dog full-time. Sometimes I need reminders to be gentle and polite as I’m still learning.

I used to be nervous on walks, but I am doing so much better! I don’t pull on my leash, but sometimes when I see other dogs, I bark because out of excitement – treats are a great way to redirect me.

I also loooove all water — sprinklers, hoses, showers — and will most definitely try to jump in the bath every time it is on.

I am a very active puppy who would love to find a forever family where I can share energy, loyalty and tail wags!
